1) Why can't I see the MS-Access Window?
The MS-Access Window is hidden and because it is hidden it does not appear in the Taskbar at the bottom of your screen.
2) Why can't I see the Passwords in the Taskbar?
You can't see the Passwords database in the Taskbar because the MS-Access Window is hidden.
3) Why did the developer hid the MS-Access Window?
The developer hid the MS-Access Window because he could and because he wanted to demonstrate how this could be done.
4) How do I switch to the Passwords database if I can't see it in the Taskbar or for that matter how would I even know it is open if I can't see it in the Taskbar?
If you use the key combination "Alt-Tab" you can see Passwords and switch to it. Just keep pressing the "Tab" while holding down the "Alt" key. To unhid the MS-Access window you can double click on the ShowAccess.exe located in the Passwords folder.
5) I don't like the fact that the MS-Access Window is hidden, how can I permanently unhid it?
Steps to unhid MS-Access Window:
Logon as Superuser and before you click the OK button hold down the "shift key" and keep it down until you see the Database Window within the MS-Access Window (you may need to logon twice before the Database Window displays).

From the menu select Tools/Options:

Select View tab and check the "Hidden objects" checkbox:

Go to Macros and select the "AutoExec" macro then click the "Design" button:

Delete the line with the description "Code to hide the MS Access Window" by selecting the line (click the record selector to the left of the line) and pressing the "Delete" key. Close the maco window and click OK to save changes:

Open "Option" again (see above), select View tab and Uncheck the "Hidden objects" checkbox. Close the Passwords database and then reopen it, the MS-Access window is now displayed.

6) I get the message below (Microsoft Access cannot open this file) when I try to open Passwords by double clicking the Passwords shortcut. How can I open the Passwords database?

As far as I know this is caused by the download manager associated with your operating system. In order to open the Passwords database you need to browse to C:\Passwords, and select the file PasswordsFE.mdb and right mouse button click and select Properties:

Click the "Unblock" button then the "OK" button. Do the same for the "PasswordsBE.mdb" then try double clicking the appropriate shortcut again.

7) When I try to email (with or without attachment, i.e., a report) I get an error message.
I have only seen this if an email program is not installed or not installed properly, also, you must have a default email account setup. In addition you may have an email plugin that is not working properly. To disable email plugins (Outlook) go to Help/About Microsoft Office Outlook and select "Disabled Items" and disable any plugins.
